Excellent location, although you might be inclined to think it is not so great being far from Old Town, but the silence, the air and the parking are worthy. Good enough breakfast, you can order something to eat until 9:30 pm, stunning view from the restaurant with a swimming pool, flowers and a castle in the background 😎 Very comfy beds, nice mountain air, silence, excelent temperatures, very good conditions to sleep. The room was big enough, with marble floor, a small refrigerator and big storing space. Free public parking in front of the hotel and if you can’t find a spot there you can still find one at the parking of the restaurant next to the hotel. We highly recommend that restaurant! Ondaretta beach is about 15 min walking and it is a very nice stroll indeed. All in all, great stay at this hotel 🤟

I chose this hotel mainly because it offers free parking, which is a huge plus. Considering that it is (logically) a little “out of the way” from the city center, the location is very convenient. An easy 10-minute walk downhill puts you right on the pedestrian boardwalk by the beach. You can either walk, take a bus or a taxi uphill, which shouldn’t cost you much. The room was very clean (except for a reddish stain on the white bed cover, which was a little off-putting). The view is great, especially when you sit on the patio by the pool, and get to enjoy the fresh air..

Extremely clean room and facilities, great staff, very friendly, no.16 Bus 200M away drops you off right in city centre so not an issue being a bit out of town. Lovely quite location but if you don't mind a 15 minute walk lots of nice restaurants and bars in Onderatta if you don't fancy the hustle and bustle of Old Town

Comfortable room with excellent air conditioning; pool was lovely; breakfast brilliant; we enjoyed being able to have a drink / snack on the terrace (menu is good value); friendly hotel staff very happy to help with taxis to old town; complimentary umberellas we could take out & return; short walk to lovely beach downhill (uphill on return obvs!)

Hotel Avenida is located close enough to walk into town and to the beach (10-15 minutes away) but we a sweeping view of the bay. It has a lovely pool and terrace to enjoy the sunshine and we even ordered a pizza to be delivered via room service/reception. Rooms are a good size and we had a view of the bay. Breakfast was very good and had all options you could want. Parking is free and we had no problem arriving earlier than official check in.

Staff : 10/10 : friendly, helpful, available. The lady at breakfast should be kept cause she's rocking it. The pool was open even if the website said it was closed : a good surprise. Other hotels usually do the opposite ! The room was super clean and cosy, with everything you need. Good pillows. Perfect if you plan to visit places outside of the city (by car or bus). Parking !

Hotel Avenida is modern hotel, excellently located in San Sebastian: the beach is a short walk away (+/- 700m), it has its own parking lot and is near an excellent restaurant (Rekondo: reservation is advised, and foresee enough budget). Rooms are spacious, with a modern bathroom and a good bed. Air condition is also fully functional. Depending on your room, you'll have a nice view over San Sebastian. Make sure to taste the jamon Iberico during breakfast!

Beautiful view and room our room overlooked the bay. While there was no restaurant there was small food and drinks available in the evening that was perfect for us. Lovely pool and it was great to have a car park as we had stayed following a week in France and had a fully packed car. Staff were friendly and told us all about where was best to go and about the bus to get us back up the hill!

Room was a good size and very clean. Although the hotel is a way from the old city, there is very good bus service into town. Within walking distance of the beach. Breakfast was good with fresh juice, pastries and many items to choose from. Kitchen staff was very attentive. Housekeeping staff was excellent and always did our room while we were at breakfast.
